1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Afrimart platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Seller Obligations
Sellers on the platform agree to:
- Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and availability information
- Maintain valid business registration and export documentation
- Fulfill orders within the agreed timeframe and specifications
- Respond to buyer inquiries and disputes in a timely manner
- Comply with all applicable export laws and regulations
4. Buyer Obligations
Buyers on the platform agree to:
- Provide accurate shipping and payment information
- Complete payment for accepted orders in a timely manner
- Inspect goods upon receipt and report issues within the dispute window
- Comply with all applicable import laws and regulations of their jurisdiction
5. Payments & Fees
All payments are processed through our secure payment partners. Afrimart charges a platform fee on completed transactions. Seller subscription fees are billed according to the selected plan. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a buyer and seller, either party may file a dispute through the platform. Afrimart will review the dispute and work with both parties to reach a fair resolution. Afrimart's decision in dispute resolution is final and binding.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Afrimart platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Afrimart or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Afrimart a license to use such content for platform operations.
8. Limitation of Liability
Afrimart acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to pay. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to us.
9. Termination
Afrimart reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm the platform community. Users may close their accounts at any time through their profile settings.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
